Designed and engineered from scratch by me during my first year of Computer Engineering, NAVIO is a lightweight, full-featured variometer tailored for aerial applications such as paragliding, RC aircraft, and drones. This project demonstrates my integrated skillset in embedded systems development, electronics design, and wireless communication — all implemented on custom hardware.

I build and sold a product called variometer to detect vertical speed using the build in barometer. It helps paraglider pilots easily detect thermal activit y and make correct inputs to the glider. The device utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller with flight logging, WiFi, and Bluetooth capabilities, allowing it to connect to a mobile phone for increased ease of use. It features a speaker, a sun-readable screen, a sensitive barometer, and other necessar y components. I designed the entire system myself, including the custom P CB, embedded soft ware, and enclosure. This project taught me how to build a MVP from scratch, iterate through ever y design process until it is good enough, test the device, present it to potential customers, and make it market-ready.
